Prince
Prince is Genoa’s shih tzu and constant companion. He’s gentle, loyal, and easy to fall in love with. Prince is the kind of dog who wins everyone over without trying.
Rachel Grant
Rachel is a collaborative lawyer and mediator specialising in family and property law. She can assist you with a wide range of legal matters including conveyancing, relationship separation and contracting out agreements, parenting, wills and estates, elder law, as well as mediation services. As with her colleagues at Klinkert Law, Rachel works best in a team and works collaboratively with other professionals.
Rachel is committed to delivering practical, timely and helpful advice to clients from all walks of life, during what can be their most challenging times. She ensures that her clients feel heard and understood at each step of the process, and that they receive the support and guidance they need to move forward with confidence.
Rachel is dedicated to professional growth and community engagement. She volunteers with Dunedin Community Mediation, Mornington Playcentre and has recently been a Grievance Panel Member at Oranga Tamariki’s Care and Protection Residence in Dunedin.
Rachel balances work with her commitments as a wife, mother of three children, and neighbour to her elderly parents. She is currently lacking in spare time, but if she had some, she would spend it tramping and cycling.

Ravi
Ravi, the English Staffordshire bullterrier hales from Te Awamutu. He was born in November 2019 and has followed in his predecessor’s footsteps, Martin, after whom our building is named. Ravi has been working since the age of 9 weeks as the resident Staffie, friend and companion to many who come through our doors. He may bring you a toy, or just sit with you. He has hidden talents such as ball fetching and taming water.

Frankie
Frankie is Kim’s lively Border Collie–Shepherd mix who brings energy and charm to the office. Outside of work, she loves running on the beach. During quieter moments at the firm, she and her best buddy Prince turn the space into their personal playground. Frankie is always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a playful hello.
Kim Storey
Kim is a registered legal executive and has been with Klinkert Law since March 2024. Kim is an Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives and an Associate Member of the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society.
Kim has worked in various law firms around town and has now found her “forever firm”. Kim’s key area is conveyancing, and she is passionate about assisting clients with the day-to-day practicalities of buying and selling property. Kim especially enjoys working with first home buyers.
Kim is also able to assist with Enduring Powers of Attorney and Wills.

Genoa Isip
Genoa is our newest legal intern. She is in her penultimate year studying Law and Politics at the University of Otago. Her mornings usually start with a run, gym, or pilates. Outside of academics, Genoa often takes her dog Prince to the park or beach. She also loves traveling overseas whenever she gets the chance. She’s thoughtful, driven, and enthusiastically carving out her path in the legal world.
Anja Klinkert
Anja works as a collaborative lawyer and mediator with a dedicated skill set focused on guiding and supporting clients to work towards solutions that benefit all. She has over 20 years of experience, practising as a mediator, collaborative lawyer, and advocate in Ōtepoti / Dunedin. Anja works best as part of a team. That includes her clients, her team at Klinkert Law, Ravi (Staffie) and a number of people that have their place at the particular moment in time.
Anja’s areas of expertise are in Property, including relationship property, conveyancing and business transactions, companies and partnerships, and Relationships, including family parenting, workplace relationships, family trust and estate interactions. Anja enjoys and is committed to on-going study and self-improvement, so her skills and area of expertise are always growing.
Anja is LEADR and AMINZ trained, accredited with the Resolution Institute and an AMINZ mediator panel member. She is a member of the New Zealand Law Society, the Family Law and Property Law Sections of the New Zealand Law Society, as well as a member of the Collaborative Resolution New Zealand Incorporated Society and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She is tech savvy and has extensive experience in online processes having provided optional online dispute resolution services for many years.

Justine Macdonald
Justine is one of our legal executives and has been with Klinkert Law since 2021.
Justine started her legal career straight out of high school and has over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry with law firms in Dunedin and Sydney, Australia. Areas of expertise include conveyancing, estates, wills, powers of attorney, and trusts.
Justine is most passionate about assisting our clients with the day-to-day practicalities of estate administration, whilst keeping a watchful eye on what Anja gets up to. She also assists our clients with their wills, Powers of Attorneys and in buying or selling property, helping them through what can be a very stressful time.

Helen Li
Helen is in her third year of studying Law and PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) at Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka – The University of Otago. She joined the Klinkert Law team in February 2024 and works part-time while continuing with her studies.
Helen brings strong research skills, curiosity and a thoughtful approach to her role and enjoys supporting the team across a range of legal matters. Her favourite papers she has taken at university have been Evidence Law and Immigration & Refugee Law.
She is a big fan of the office dogs and believes that they are the real secret to Klinkert Law’s great culture and charm.
Krisha Patel
Krisha is in her third year of studying Law and Sociology at The University of Otago. She joined Klinkert Law in April of 2025 and works part time while pursuing her studies.
She brings her legal research skills, enthusiasm, and a unique perspective to the team.
Krisha enjoys spending time with the office dogs, learning from those around her, and assisting on a range of legal matters.
Wendy Smith
Wendy is our Trust Account & Business Account Manager and Legal Executive. She has been with Klinkert Law since 2021.
Wendy loves to look after our clients and assists with all things financial in a quiet and confidential manner.
