Traditionally we have a strong focus on property, providing our clients with services in buying and selling private and commercial real estate as well as small businesses.

Anja Klinkert works in the area of family law, commercial / company law and property conveyancing, which therefore gives our clients the advantage of working with a lawyer that has the practical experience and knowledge to advise them on all aspects of their relationship property.

We draw up property sharing agreements at the beginning of a relationship and property division agreements at the end of a relationship.

Court / Legal Aid Work

We accept instructions from clients who apply for and are granted legal aid.

Anja Klinkert accepts instructions in the area of family, employment law and civil litigation.

Legal aid is administered by the Legal Services Agency and when clients qualify it generally means that the Legal Services Agency pays our legal fees and enters into an agreement with the client to repay the grant to them over time. Sometimes the Legal Services Agency does not require repayment of the grant.

We are able to advise clients in relation to all aspects of their application for legal aid.

Civil Litigation

We accept instructions from clients to work in the area of civil litigation.

We deal with a variety of disputes and act for clients in making applications as well as defending applications.

We resolve the vast majority of disputes at, or before, proceedings being drafted.

If Court proceedings are necessary we are able to represent our clients in the District Court and in the High Court. At times we also instruct a senior barrister to further our client’s litigation objective.

We accept legal aid assignments.

Employment Law / Agreements

Anja Klinkert works in the area of employment law.

In particular we provide services to employers and employees in resolving employment disputes, personal grievances, redundancies, disciplinary procedures, representation in mediation and adjudication.

We review and draft employment agreements, advise clients on restructuring, redundancy, relationship management, including performance and misconduct.

Anja Klinkert is able to represent our clients in the Employment Relations Service, the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court.

We resolve the vast majority of employment relationship problems at, or before, mediation.

We provide a comprehensive property conveyancing service at a quoted rate to our clients.

We do title searches, give advice on LIM reports and property inspection reports; we can assist with engaging the services of a registered valuer, obtaining a builder’s report and in obtaining suitable finance.

We work closely with surveyors, valuers, financiers, builders, plumbers, electricians, engineers, property managers, real estate agents, other property lawyers and other advisors in order to support our clients’ property transactions being a success.

Wills / Estates / Powers of Attorney & Trusts

We provide a free service to our existing clients in drafting their wills.

We also draw up powers of attorney for property and personal care and welfare.

We are able to provide our clients with practical and commonsense advice on asset protection. Trusts can be very useful in protecting your assets; however they are not the only means of achieving this.

We are able to provide our clients with advice about the pros and cons and the ongoing costs of a family trust.

We draw up family trust deeds, deeds of acknowledgement of debts, deeds of reduction of debts, gift statements, memoranda of wishes and trust resolutions.

We also administer estates. Because we have a strong focus on property law, we are able to provide our clients with a wide range of services, advice and support in resolving the estate administration and distribution.
